Purvis Short
Purvis Short, a 6' 7" Forward/Guard from the Jackson State University, was born on July 2, 1957 and played for 12 seasons in the NBA from 1978 to 1989. He played with the Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets and New Jersey Nets. He last played in the league during the 1989 season as a member of the Nets.
